Note: the S&P remained below its 6/13 low for the third day, negating that level of support. However, thus far, there has been little follow through, and stocks are again oversold. So, a bounce should not be unexpected. All that said, the CPI number (see below) this morning might be the determining directional factor prior to the election---barring some exogenous event.
